I wanted a diverse job that offered the possibility to work outside, travel abroad and play a leading role in large construction projects. In just three years I have received the most varied experience possible.

I have worked on over 13 dams across Ireland, 7 wind farm projects, 2 gas power stations in the UK and a biomass power plant in London. I am currently working on a £1.4 billon power station project in the UK where I am helping design the civil engineering aspect of this 1600MW power station.

I helped develop and now successfully run ESB’s drone surveying department with two other colleagues which is revolutionising the way engineers capture and used data.
