It really was one of the best experiences of my life. It gave me the opportunity to experience a new and different culture and to work on a project I would never get a chance to work on in Ireland.

Graduates are rotated within the various business units and, luckily enough, I was chosen to work on a project in Bahrain.

I chose ESB because of the company’s reputation and history, the variety of the work and the potential to work abroad. I was also attracted to the company’s social events such as the Cross Company Power Challenge, sponsored runs and tag rugby.

There’s a really good variety between office and onsite works which keeps things interesting. No two days are the same and projects are countrywide, which is great as you get to visit different parts of Ireland which you otherwise wouldn’t get to see.

ESB
