Good news there is still 8 days left to enter the Career Skills Competition!
The deadline is Friday 31st March 2023.
This competition is open to all TY, LCA and other Senior Cycle students who have completed Work Experience and there are great prizes up for grabs in all categories including MacBook Air laptops, GoPro Cameras, Bluetooth Speakers, Tablets and €1,000 cash prizes for the winning schools.
We also have special prize categories for work experience / career investigations completed on careers with languages or careers in Tourism and Hospitality.
The aim of the competition is to promote the development of key career skills and to highlight the importance of career research for students. The good news is that the competition ties in directly with the Work Placement Programmes associated with the TY, LCVP or LCA programmes, so most of the work is already done!
How to enter
Complete a Career Investigation and Work Placement Report based on your Work Experience - this can be either a written entry or record a Vlog in either English or Irish. Investigate one job role during your placement and report back on it. Check out our video guide for students on what is required for each category-
