Our newest 3 Star Private personnel recently received their rank markings from the Director of the Defence Forces School of Music, Lt Col Margaret Bannister. Over the past number of months all personnel underwent exams in the areas of music, fitness and military administration.

The 3 Inf Bn Adventure Training Camp took place recently. Personnel participated in rock climbing and abseiling at the Gap of Dunloe. A massive thank you to the @df_mountaineers.

The Defence Forces are now accepting applications for Motor Technician Fitters, suitably qualified candidates must hold FAS/SOLAS or equivalent qualification in one of the following:
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Construction plant Fitter, Agricultural Mechanics.
HETAC L7 Agricultural Mechanisation. Applicants must be 18 years and less than 29 years of age on date of application.
