Post Grad - M.A Tourism & Heritage Management – Dundalk IT

The aim of the MA in Tourism and Heritage Management is to produce graduates with an advanced level of theoretical knowledge and some level of practical knowledge, with a highly developed research experience and capability, and enhanced personal and professional skills to enable their professional development within the indigenous and international Tourism and Heritage Management domain. This is a structured master’s programme, meaning there is a focus on research throughout with the research project totalling 60 credits of the 90 credits available.

Higher Diploma in Business in Tourism Marketing – SETU Carlow

This is a one-year Higher Diploma designed for those who would like to change career, or who may already be employed in the tourism industry. As the economy continues to recover, more graduates will be required to work in the tourism sector. This programme addresses the need for graduates with knowledge in culture, tourism operations, marketing (including e-marketing) and general business.

MSc Tourism Management – Conversion Course – TU Dublin

The programme is a conversion course aimed at both professionals currently employed within the tourism industry and those from complementary backgrounds who wish to enter the tourism field. In this context it may be of particular interest to people coming from a heritage, languages, geography, marketing or business background.

This course aims to equip participants with the necessary expertise to manage, co-ordinate and develop tourism businesses and projects in Ireland and abroad. It is aimed at both professionals currently employed within the tourism industry and those from related fields.
