Explore a world of Further Education and Training (FET) and Apprenticeships at World Skills Ireland and Higher Options this September

SOLAS, the National Apprenticeship Office, and representatives from Ireland’s 16 Education and Training Boards (ETBs) are set to spotlight Further Education and Training (FET) and Apprenticeship opportunities for school leavers over 3 days at World Skills Ireland and Higher Options events from 25th – 27th September across Dublin’s RDS arenas.

Providing valuable and recognised post-secondary learning pathways outside of the points system for school leavers, FET and Apprenticeship programmes can offer Leaving Certificate students a wealth of smart options to unlock their potential after school. Attendees can find information at numerous stands throughout both events where they can discuss a range of exciting options with FET, including over 2,000 NFQ Level 5 and 6 Post- Leaving Cert courses available at local level in every county, and 75 Apprenticeship programmes on offer across a wide variety of cutting-edge, dynamic industries.

FET and Apprenticeships will also form an important part of careers talks scheduled to take place over three days, that are not to be missed, with each ensuring students have the opportunity to learn about, and consider all pathways and opportunities they can take before taking their next steps after school.

Please note that registration in advance is required to ensure access to both events.
