Tertiary Degrees - Podcast Special with Current Students at TU Dublin

Tertiary Degrees are now open for application on www.nto.ie with information and resources online also for guidance professionals and students.

We were delighted to host a special @talking_bollox_podcast live event at TU Dublin as we celebrated the expansion of the Tertiary Bachelor’s Degree programme – now with almost 40 courses open for 2025/26. Our thanks to Minister James Lawless TD for highlighting this important message.

The courses are available all over the country, with learners beginning their studies in Further Education & Training (FET) colleges before progressing to Higher Education Institutions and graduating with a bachelor’s degree.

Tertiary Bachelor’s Degrees have been designed to break those traditional barriers:

Start your degree in your local ETB

• No points required

• No college fees for the first 1–2 years while in the ETB

• Seamless transition to a Higher Education Institution

• Graduate with the same Bachelor’s Degree

The full episode is now live wherever you get your podcasts, bringing together current students for some real talk around the benefits of this “Points-Free” route to a Bachelor’s Degrees.
