Media Analysts will use a range of research methods, including data analysis, reading press reports, accessing academic research and developing contacts among media professionals.
Communication is key to the job, the research conducted is only as useful as how effectively it is conveyed. So media analysts will be competent in writing reports, where detail information is summarised as well as possessing the ability to communicate clearly.
