The Work
Food preparation workers perform fundamental food preparation tasks, preparing ingredients and work areas under the supervision of senior kitchen staff. This may involve slicing vegetables, cutting meat, cleaning surfaces and utensils, preparing condiments and storing food. They may be involved in the preparation of simple dishes such as salads or sandwiches.
