About Us

Grange Community College has provided Post Leaving Certificate courses since 1981. We operate a student centred educational facility based on respect for individuals and a realisation that people learn in different ways. Our teachers are highly qualified dedicated professionals who encourage students to engage in their own learning process thus promoting a sense of empowerment and personal achievement.

Our courses are offered on both full-time and part-time basis, designed to accommodate the various lifestyles of our students. Our student body is diverse; it is comprised of people who are building a foundation for their future careers. Some people are availing of in-career development while others participate purely for personal enjoyment.

For students who wish to progress, Grange Community College promotes further education progression routes and/or entry into the world of work with industry relevant qualifications.

Why Us?

No Leaving Cert Required
Leaving Certificate is not required, however for you to sucessfully engage with and participate on the course you wish to apply for, your suitability for the course will be based upon, your interview, educational history, references etc. For specific course requirements see individual course pages.
Student Grants
There are PLC grants available for full time students. See http://www.susi.ie
Work experience module placement
All adult students in the college are afforded the opportunity to participate in a programme of work experience during their course of studies. This is an integral part of the learning experience, and can offer crucial links into future employment.
DDLETB Student Society
Grange Community College as part of DDLETB is one of the participating colleges of DDLETB STUDENT SOCIETY. The society organises social events during the academic year to provide a full college experience for our students. Events include table quizzes, fun-runs and bowling events.
Learning Support
In certain circumstances, some learners may need additional supports to enable them to benefit fully from their course. The Higher Education Authority (HEA) Fund for students with disabilities aims to assist students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties to participate in Further Education/PLC courses.
