The college supports a Student Council that organise clubs, events and activities throughout the academic year.

The college supports two modern IT laboratories with out of class access for students. Students can also avail of excellent wifi access throughout the college campus. Moodle, the on-line learning platform, is used extensively by tutors and students. 

The college has a fully-equipped gymnasium that is predominantly used by the Sports, Recreation and Exercise students as a training facility. Out-of-class access to the facility is made available to other students.

The college does not operate on-campus accommodation but is happy to provide students with advice on rental accommodation in the vicinity. 

Canteen facilities are available for all, serving hot and cold food and beverages throughout the day. The canteen endeavours to focus on healthy eating options. 

The college is very centrally located in Kilkenny city and reachable by foot from all parts of the city. Regional and provincial buses operate a stop at the front gate of the college on Ormonde Road.
