Our students come from every county in Ireland and 126 different countries. Our university is ranked as the 31st most diverse in the world (Times Higher Education Rankings 2024). And it’s not just Trinity students in Ireland making an impact. Our study abroad programmes give undergraduates the chance to live, travel, and study in prestigious partner universities in Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania, while earning credits towards their degree. This global footprint includes over 150,000 Trinity graduates in 160 countries.

Trinity College’s main campus of cobbled squares and green playing fields is home to historic buildings and artefacts like the Book of Kells alongside state-of-the-art research and learning facilities, and a fully equipped Sports Centre. The Trinity Library is one of the world’s great research libraries, while the Science Gallery is an award-winning forum for exploring science through art and public engagement. Additionally, you can find some of Ireland’s major research centres in the fields of Arts & Humanities, Nanoscience, and Biomedical Sciences on the Trinity campus.
Entry Requirements for Undergraduates
To meet Trinity’s entry requirements, regardless of course, applicants must present six Leaving Cert subjects (or international equivalent), including:
A pass in English AND A pass in Mathematics and a pass in a language other than English
OR
A pass in Latin and a pass in a subject other than a language
The language other than English is a minimum requirement and that language can be Irish, French, Spanish or any Leaving Cert examined language.

The Inclusive National Higher Education Forum is a national interest group comprised of representatives of higher education providers who offer programmes of inclusive education to learners with intellectual disabilities in Ireland.

Clubs & Societies
Nearly 10,000 Trinity students take part in the 50 university sports clubs, including: Boxing, Climbing, Fencing, Gaelic Football, Judo, Kayaking, Netball, Trampolining, and Volleyball to name a few. Information Technology
Trinity students can access a range of IT services, including Trinity Wi-Fi for your personal devices. Computer rooms are located across campus, and some of these rooms have 24- hour access with your Student ID card. Printing services are available in computer rooms and libraries. Sports & Fitness
The Sports Centre includes a weights area, a functional training zone, a wellness studio, a virtual spin studio, and personal training space. There is also a 25-metre pool, sauna and steam room, as well as a climbing wall. All students are automatically members of the Sports Centre.
Accommodation
Trinity offers a number of communal accommodation options around the city, with different options available to first-year, continuing, and postgraduate students.
