Originally established as Queens University Cork in 1845, UCC has a stunning campus with the River Lee flowing through it. Walk to Cork’s vibrant city centre in 15 minutes! UCC has three campuses: Main Campus, Western Campus and North Mall Campus, which are all located within a 15 minute walk of each other. It’s very easy to get around on foot and on wheels (bike, scooter or skateboard) and we even have a number of short looped campus walks that you can do in between lectures to help you keep well and get those all important steps in!.
WORLD CLASS EDUCATION
Drawing on the spirit of Finbarr’s seventh-century site, we are dedicated to teaching and learning, enabled in our modern university by creative scholarship and understanding, to enhance the well-being of all. We educate our students to observe and question, to discern and reflect, to analyse and act, as independent thinkers and creative explorers.
We know the value employers place on work experience and that’s why over 90% of our programmes offer placements internationally and nationally.
