We offer student-centred education in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Because we’re a small college, we have greater flexibility in supporting the needs of our students than larger institutions. There is a strong focus by staff on meeting the individual needs of all students.
The staff have extensive industry experience in their respective fields and are dedicated to ensuring that, whether aiming to move to Higher Education or entering the employment market, students leave the college with every skill necessary for the future.
The courses offered in the college combine practical training with the development of strong academic skills in order to develop lifelong learning skills for all our students. Because all of our courses are accredited by QQI (formerly FETAC) they offer an alternative pathway to universities and Institutes of Technology. Indeed, Stillorgan College has an excellent record in facilitating students to progress to degree courses.
The college has state-of-the-art facilities and our computer, media and other equipment are constantly upgraded to keep up with today’s ever-changing technology.
Sited close to Stillorgan Shopping Centre, the college is serviced by many bus routes and is also accessible via Dart and Luas networks. Car parking is available on the college grounds.
The college has all the facilities to provide students with the skills necessary to gain the skills and knowledge for today’s workplace. Facilities include: modern computer labs, darkroom facilities, bright and large art and animation studios.
Free parking is available for students on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students at Stillorgan College have an active role in the development of College life through the Student Council. The DDLETB Student Society supports the social life of the student body across ten Further Education colleges in Dublin, with events running locally such as charity zombie run, Christmas carol singing, table quizzes, bowling championships, social outings, football tournaments, etc.
The college has state-of-the-art facilities and our computer, media and other equipment are constantly upgraded to keep up with today’s ever-changing technology. Registered students are provided with a subscription to Microsoft’s Office 365 software. Students on courses such as Multimedia, Media Production and Photography are also provided with a subscription to Adobe CC which allows them full access to these programs for home use while students in the college.
Stillorgan College is located in the heart of Stillorgan village with easy access to a wide range of cafes, restaurants and shops. In addition students have access to vending machines in the Student room.

We are committed to providing an educational service to students in a caring and friendly environment that fosters learning.
