About Us

Griffith College is Ireland's largest independent 3rd level institution with locations in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. The main campus is situated on seven acres within a mile of St. Stephen's Green on Dublin's South Circular Road.

Students will not only receive a high quality academic qualification, there’s a large focus on ensuring our students are employer ready with a detailed knowledge of their discipline and a set of transferable skills that will allow them to respond to changes in the employment market. Our students are employer ready and possess lifelong, soft skills. Students can also develop their skills during an Erasmus experience with one of our many study abroad partners.

Attainable Entry Requirements

All Griffith’s level 7 & level 8 undergraduate courses are QQI validated and the entry requirements to study at Griffith College are very attainable. On the new Leaving Certificate points scale, a level 8 programme requires 2 H5’s and 4 O6’s or a level 7 programme requires 5 O6’s/H 7’s. We also facilitate progression routes from the Colleges of Further Education.

IT Support – each student is provided with an Office 365 account with access to email, online cloud storage and access to Microsoft office suite.

Fitness room – each student has access to the college gym and changing facilities.
Student Counsellor – a professional counsellor is available to all students free of charge. This service is completely confidential and appointments will be facilitated within 24 hours of placing a request.
Health and Medical Service – the college has a partnership with a local medical practise which it recommends to students and will facilitate a 10% student discount for students.
Students Union – Griffith College has a full time Students Union to support the students in all areas of student life. The SU team consists of an active communications officer, sports and societies officer, entertainment and welfare officer, president and SU manager.
Disability services – the college has a dedicated disability support officer for students who require support for learning difficulties, ongoing illness, physical difficulties, mental health difficulties or sensory disabilities amongst others. A supportive environment for all students is of utmost importance at Griffith College.

Sports & Fitness

The College has a fitness room that is available to all students in the college. The Fitness Room is located in the B Block, just off the main reception. The room contains various cardiovascular equipment most notably elliptical cross trainers, exercise bikes and treadmills. The room also has weight machines. Adjacent to the Fitness Room there are male and female changing rooms which are equipped with hot showers and secure lockers for gym gear.

The Urban Square Food Co offers a variety of food choices from its three outlets, Coco Diablo, Honest and Urban Square Coffee Co. Students, staff and the general public will have the choice of Mexican cuisine, healthy salads and treats as well as artisan coffee.

Having been appointed, Mount Charles has agreed to operate environmentally friendly.

The team has agreed to:

Single use plastics free, from 1 January 2020,
All cups and lids to be bio degradable and waste managed to this effect
They will supply, wash and manage re-usable staff cups
They will recycle all waste
Install LED bulbs etc.
Continue to keep up with modern ‘green/ environmentally efficient’ operational strategies and operate waste segregation into different bins and ‘educate’ and communicating same to its customers
