Donegal College is a fresh expression of Further Education and Training in our county, shaped by the people, industries, and communities we serve. Our new identity reflects the diversity, ambition, and potential of people across Donegal. Our courses are delivered in over 100 venues across the county.

Why Us?
Almost 95% of our course have no fees, with only a very small number of courses having some associated costs, for example there is a small cost for the purchase of makeup brushes, kits and uniforms with the Beauty Therapy Traineeship.
Students undertaking full-time programmes may be entitled to a training allowance weekly for the duration of their studies. In addition, for many of our courses you may be entitled to other financial supports such as accommodation or travel and meal allowances. While PLC students may be entitled to SUSI grant and/or Back to Education Allowance.
we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a student-centred approach, we achieve this by maintaining small class sizes where students and tutors can build rapport and benefit from a supportive learning environment. Continuous assessment is an integral part of the process that allows our students to reach their full potential.
We understand that the world of work is changing at a rapid pace and education and training must also respond in real time to meet the needs of the economy. We work closely with industry in the design of our courses to ensure they meet the needs of employers. Almost all our courses include work practice to prepare our students for the world of work by learn on the job in real time and assisting students to build skills and important working relationships and networks.
We have a proven track record in preparing our students for employment, further or higher education in third level institutions.
