About Us

National Learning Network provides training and specialist support to people who, for various reasons, may find it challenging to gain employment. So whatever your circumstances – whether you are long-term unemployed, have an illness, a disability or additional support needs – National Learning Network can help you.

We are Ireland’s leading provider of specialist individualised education, training and development opportunities. We empower people to undertake positive learning pathways through inclusion in training, further education, higher education, and working life. The learning environment is designed to foster confidence and a sense of belonging; each person learns in a way that best meets their needs.

National Learning Network provides a continuum of high-quality, effective, supported learning pathways for adults with disabilities, significant health challenges and adults experiencing educational disadvantage in achieving personal and professional success in further education, higher education, and the world of work. This includes people aged 16 to adults of all ages who may have an illness, a disability or additional support needs.

As Ireland’s largest non-governmental education and training organisation, we offer over 70 training programmes ranging from art and cooking to computer and business skills in centres across the country. So, whatever your interests, we have a training programme for you!

You can access courses in various ways: in your local centre, with a local employer, or even from your home. All National Learning Network training programmes are funded through the Educational Training Boards or the Health Service Executive, and therefore, most students receive an allowance for participation. Of the thousands of students who completed a training programme with us last year, 90% went on to further education or training.
