As the largest campus in TUS, Athlone offers the broadest campus experience, combining scale, specialist facilities and a strong student community in a central Midlands location.
TUS Athlone is a busy and energetic university campus located in the heart of Ireland, known for its strong student population and lively campus atmosphere. The campus brings together a wide range of disciplines, including business, engineering, science, health, computing, media and the arts, with 65+ CAO courses available across Levels 6, 7 and 8, alongside dedicated buildings and specialist facilities for each area of study.
Students benefit from access to high-quality, industry-standard facilities, including the newly developed Mary Ward Centre of Excellence for STEM, which features modern labs and learning spaces across science, health and technology. Specialist facilities across campus include the Digital Media Lab, Recording Studio, Moot Courtroom and a Nursing Simulation Suite designed to mirror real clinical environments.
