We offer the full range of higher education qualifications, including Bachelor degrees, Honours Bachelor degrees, and post-graduate Masters and PhD degrees. MTU Cork has a very well developed 'ladder' structure to enable students to progress through the different levels of qualifications.
MTU Cork offers 76 courses through the CAO. Forty-three of these are on the Honours Degree (Level 8) list. It's important to note in addition that there are thirty courses on the Bachelor Degree Level 7 list which have routes of progression to Honours Degree courses at CIT.

The MTU Library on the Bishopstown has over 600 study spaces available. The Student Centre has the following student services offices; Medical Centre, Counselling Service, Access Service, Academic Learning Centre, Careers Service, Sports & Societies Offices, Card & Reprographics Service.
The diversity of MTU Societies means that’s practically every taste is catered for during the academic year 2017/2018 there were 42 societies in operation.
The Sports facilities are conveniently located on campus and are currently one of the finest in Ireland including multi-purpose Sports Hall, 1200 seater fully covered Stadium that houses an elite gym and 6 dressing rooms, astro-turf pitches, 8 lane Athletics track, tennis courts and of playing pitches.
The Accommodation Office assists students in finding a suitable place to live. The service provides information and guidance to students on the accommodation most appropriate to their needs. Students can phone, call into the office or email for up to date lists and information. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.
In the Bishopstown Campus, there are three main catering outlets – the Food Court including the Snack Bar and the Grumpy Mule) and in the Student Centre there is also a Bistro and a Gala Shop.
An annual fee set by the Government for the Higher Education Student Contribution is payable to the Institute.
There is a regular bus service from the City Centre and other locations to the Bishopstown Campus.
