n this webinar, Hannah Callaghan BSc(Hons) RVN MSc will outline the key differences between a career in veterinary medicine and a career as a veterinary nurse. 

Every year in the BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Nursing course in UCD, there are CAO entrants who had hoped to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. Upon starting the Veterinary Nursing programme, many of these students are surprised to find out just how different the two careers are. 

There is a huge lack of information to be found about the work of veterinary nurses in practice, and in the wider world. This webinar aims to address this by providing accurate, up to date information about the career of the veterinary nurse as it stands in Ireland today so that guidance counsellors can advise any students who are considering a career in the veterinary industry what path would suit them best. 

The webinar will also include a brief synopsis of the BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Nursing at UCD and a question and answer session.
