The annual event takes place on the University’s Carlow Campus, Kilkenny Road, Carlow, R93 V960 and is free of charge for adults over 23.

The event will be really helpful for prospective students who are over 23 years and are interested in studying on one of SETU’s many full-time CAO courses. Whether you have already applied to SETU to study in September and want to become familiar with college life or you haven’t started your application process yet and want to find out more about your course options, this event will answer all your questions.

Attendees will get the opportunity to meet lecturers, current mature students, gain knowledge on supports available as SETU students, learn about fees and grants and take a tour of our campus.

This is a fantastic opportunity for mature students to get a feel for college life. There can be many obstacles along the way for those returning to education after a long absence, but we want to ensure you that there is many supports along the way to make this transition to third level as easy as possible.

People who wish to apply for a full-time course at SETU can still apply to the CAO up until 1 May 2023 at 5.15pm which is the closing date for late applications.

The University also has many opportunities for part-time study and our Lifelong Learning team will be on site to talk through part-time, flexible learning and Springboard options with prospective students.
