Details

This one-day Masterclass will offer a reflective space for practitioners to work in small groups, led by Dr David McCormack, Dr Mary B Ryan, and Dr Nuala Whelan, with input from guest speaker Dr Lilian Nwanze Akobo.

The session will invite participants to critically reflect on how race and inclusion shape their practice in adult guidance contexts. Using a structured reflective approach, the Masterclass will introduce key concepts related to culturally responsive and anti-racist practice, with an emphasis on values-led, embodied reflection rather than techniques alone. Participants will be supported to consider how these insights can inform their work with individuals, within systems, and across guidance services.

This Masterclass is designed to support the ongoing professional development of adult guidance practitioners and will be of interest to those working across guidance, counselling, education, and related sectors.

Places are limited to 45, so please complete the registration form below to express your interest in attending.
