ICT in Education Conference 2019

The Department of Information Technology at LIT is looking forward to hosting the 2019 ICT in Education Conference at LIT Thurles Campus on Saturday, May 11^th.

Teachers attending this year’s conference will discover an "Ideas in Education" theme running through the presentations and workshops. The conference will showcase case studies, workshops and keynote addresses to amplify effective methods teachers, lecturers and practitioners use to enhance the resonance and reach of their own best practice and to energise ideas in creative classrooms and online activities.

The day-long event provides a place where enthusiastic educators can meet in person, sustaining relationships that span across three levels of education. Continuing an important @ictedu tradition, a pre-conference Maker Meet will take place on Friday May 10th. This meet utilises problem based and project based learning with an emphasis on hands on, collaborative learning.
