New Degree in Clinical Measurement Physiology at ATU Sligo

Posted on October 14, 2022 ATU Sligo has announced a new BSc (Hons) in Clinical Measurement Physiology. Available through the CAO using code AU973, this is the first undergraduate degree in Clinical Measurement Physiology based in the west, and only the second degree in Ireland. The degree covers all five disciplines of Clinical Measurement Physiology – Gastro-intestinal, Neurology, Vascular, Respiratory and Cardiology.

The degree also includes three minor work placements and a major work placement. There is a strong emphasis on students learning to adopt a patient-centred and professional approach. Key skills acquired will be the ability to deliver valid clinical diagnostic data to colleagues and patients, broad clinical knowledge, critical thinking and research skills.
