From chemical sciences to psychology there is something to suit your interests and goals for your future.  This year we have a host of new offerings and entry routes providing you with the skills you need to take on an ever changing world.

BSc in Psychology and Disruptive Technologies (DC210)

The BSc in Psychology and Disruptive Technologies (DC210) (subject to completion of accreditation), offers the unique opportunity to study psychology and understand human behaviour in combination with disruptive technologies that are fundamentally transforming lives and driving behavioural and societal change. This course will provide the skills, expertise and values for you to be able to work in a rapidly changing and diverse technological environment in behaviour change, mental wellbeing, health, enhancement and rehabilitation, and innovation. BSc in Psychology and Mathematics (DC207) 

Develop numeracy, analytic and problem-solving skills to further the scientific study of the human mind and behaviour.  The BSc in Psychology and Mathematics (DC207)is the first course in Ireland to integrate these subjects for students interested in a career that combines the interpretation of human behaviour with high-level numeracy, analytical and problem solving skills.  Full details can be found HERE

Chemical Sciences General Entry (DC163)

Chemical Sciences General Entry introduces you to the fascinating world of chemical science providing you with the fundamental knowledge you require before progressing to a degree in: 

Chemistry with Artificial Intelligence- in this ground-breaking degree programme, one of the first of its kind, students will learn the skills needed from both a chemistry and a computing perspective, to allow them to harness the enormous potential of applying AI to chemistry. (subject to accreditation)

Analytical Science - educating you in both theoretical and practical aspects of chemical, biochemical and microbiological analysis.

Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science- applying the basic principles of chemistry to  equip you with an array of problem solving skills to serve in the professional world.

Biological Sciences General Entry (DC180)

Biological Sciences General Entry is your route to a future in:

Bioprocessing - an interactive and dynamic programme that will develop your knowledge and appreciation of the conceptual and factual bases for bioprocess design and operation. (subject to accreditation)

Genetics and Cell Biology - enhancing your biology expertise and teaching the laboratory skills that are the foundation for major, modern scientific breakthroughs.

Biotechnology - furnishing you with the science and engineering fundamentals to succeed in the booming technology-driven biotech industry

Physical Sciences General Entry (DC175)

Physics General Entry will lead you to a future degree in: 

Applied Physics- emphasising the real-world applications of the subject as well as providing a foundation in the basics of physics.  

Physics with Data Analytics- an innovative and novel degree programme, combining the skills and knowledge of a Physics degree with the advanced data analytics tools you need to solve real-world problems in new and exciting ways.  (subject to accreditation)

Physics with Biomedical Sciences - focusing on physics and technology related to medical research, clinical services or biomedical industries.  

Physics with Astronomy - designed to appeal to everyone with an interest in physics, astronomy, astrophysics, space science and technology.
