DCU Wins Excellence In Entrepreneurship Education Award At Inaugural Small Business Charter Excellence Awards DCU Business School’s innovative LIFE (Learning Innovation for Enterprise) Module has been awarded a Small Business Charter Excellence Award for 'Outstanding Support for Student Enterprise and Entrepreneurship'.  The inaugural awards were presented at a ceremony hosted in the House of Lords in London. Congratulations to module coordinators Dr Catherine Faherty and Dr Orlagh Reynolds, as well as Prof Teresa Hogan, DCU Manager of the Small Business Charter. 

Teams from the National Centre for Family Business and DCU Centre for Executive and International Education were also shortlisted in two other categories.  Read More >

DCU Business School and FIA Announce Global Research Scholarships DCU and the FIA have announced six scholarships as part of the FIA’s 'United Against Online Abuse' campaign. The scholarships will invite researchers to collaborate against online hate speech in sport while earning a Master’s by Research. This partnership with the FIA will expand the Business School’s research on hate speech and online abuse into other sports including motorsports. The research will be supervised by Dr Gary Sinclair and Professor Theo Lynn. Read more >

IAA And DCU Education and Training Partnership On 14th June DCU signed a cooperation agreement with Ireland’s aviation regulator, the IAA, to work internationally and domestically to develop excellence in aviation training and education.  The agreement sets out a long-term partnership between the two organisations which covers a range of shared commitments to aviation education and research including air transport management. ECIU experience at Create Tomorrow DCU student Chloe Lieu (Marketing, Innovation and Technology) recently attended the ECIU Create Tomorrow event - the world's largest student think thank - at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.  The event included numerous quizzes, workshops and activities where Chloe and the co-competitors worked in teams on challenges presented by case partners.
