International Aid & Development at Ballsbridge CFE

This innovative course offers students the opportunity to develop their understanding of current global development issues and challenges.. It provides students with the theory and practical skills for a career in the development sector working in non-governmental agencies or voluntary agencies.

Ireland’s Aid is delivered through the government aid programme, Irish Aid, as well as through many non-government organisations such as GOALTrocaireSelf-Help Africa and Concern. Graduates of ths course will be well-equipped to work in global development agencies and organisations in the areas of fundraising, publicity, advocacy and development.

The course is designed for both the school-leaver and the adult learner who has an interest in pursuing a career or further studies in global development.
