This one year full time course at Post Leaving Certificate level is ideally suited for students who aspire to undertake an apprenticeship in the motor industry and related fields. Its aim is to provide students with a thorough grounding in Motor Vehicle Maintenance practices.

Plunket college has strong industry links / work experience opportunities with Windsor Motors and Dublin Bus for students undertaking the Motor Technology course.

Students may progress to apprenticeships as follows:

• Motor Mechanics
• Vehicle Body Repairs
• Heavy Vehicle Mechanics

On successful completion of the course, students are prepared for employment, including employment in the motor technology industry and will provide opportunities to work in various aspects of the auto trade.
