Scholarships at MI

Posted on June 6, 2019 Monaghan Institute is proud to sponsor a number of scholarships across both boths and academia. Applicants can potentially avail of Entrance Scholarships, Sporting Scholarships, and GAA Scholarships.

The Entrance Scholarships are presented to first year students who achieve 400 points or more in their Leaving Certificate (or equivalent second-level examination) in recognition of their academic achievement to date. Find out more HERE. 

MI is committed to supporting talented athletes reaching the top of their sport while achieving academic success. Sporting Scholarships provide free access to sports facilities, perforamnce appraisal and planning and financial assistance to students excelling in their chosen sport. Find out more HERE. 

MI in partnership with Ulster GAA and Monaghan GAA have joined to offer GAA Academy Scholarships, which afford students the opportunity to advance playing and coaching abilities. Find out more HERE.

The Ulster GAA Student Bursary Scheme is open to players advancing to second year studies with MI (except those who hold another GAA-related or college scholarship/bursary); and who are active participants in their chosen discipline. Find out more HERE.
