Claire Keenan - Monaghan Institute Business Studies Graduate

Claire Keenan is a past student of Monaghan Institute. After completing QQI Level 5 Business Studies and Office administration, Claire decided to stay on another year in Monaghan Institute to study QQI Level 6 Advanced IT & Business Management. The modules allowed Claire to advance in her IT skills which would be necessary for working in a modern office environment.

Having to finish the final months of college online due to Covid-19, allowed Claire to broaden her IT skills. At this time Microsoft Teams was introduced for students to engage with Tutors to complete their final college assessments and this has proved to be extremely beneficial in a modern working environment.

During her studies the practice interviews and presentations helped Claire build her confidence to where she felt comfortable applying for a position, and going for an interview with CMETB. Claire has now secured a full-time role in Monaghan Institute as a team member of Training Services and we wish her all the best for her future.
