This week’s FET Course of the week is Level 5 Sport & Leisure Management in Monaghan Institute.
This course aims to provide learners with the practical skills and knowledge to instruct people in the sports, coaching and leisure industry.
This course has a lot of practical elements to it with learners completing:
- Fitness Instructing
- Fitness Testing
- Instruct exercise classes
All while completing national and international qualifications and gaining invaluable exposure to the leisure industry during work placement.
What are the Entry Requirements?
- Leaving Certificate with five O6 grades (or five passes pre 2017) or equivalent is the standard entry requirement for Level 5 courses
- Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4 Award are also acceptable
