DFEi - New Pre-Apprenticeship available in Dun Laoghaire

Dún Laoghaire Further Education Institute (DFEi), is accepting applications for its new Pre-Apprenticeship/Construction Technology course, commencing September 2022.

The course is ideal for those wishing to pursue an apprenticeship. Students will be exposed to the basic skills of the five key building trades: Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Electrical, Bricklaying and Plastering. Graduates will receive a QQI Level 5 award in Construction Technology which is also suitable for progression to degree programmes in Construction or the Built Environment for those wishing to take a more academic pathway.

Additionally, due to our strong links with industry, students on this course may be selected for interview for an apprenticeship with John Sisk and Son Ltd, Ireland's largest construction company.
