The Lir Academy's summer courses still due to go ahead

The Lir Academy's summer courses are due to go ahead and we look forward to accepting applications from young actors

The Lir Academy is currently closed, but we expect our summer courses to run as planned and we are accepting applications! The courses are:

Summer Acting Camp (13th -24th July). A 2-week acting course for 12-15 year olds with a passion for acting who want to get an early start in a supportive, creative environment.

Musical Theatre Intensive (6th -17th July). A two-week intensive introduction to the key skills needed to be a musical theatre performer. 16+  

Young Actors Programme (2 weeks) (20th - 31st July). A programme designed to give young actors aged 16+ a taste of what it's like to study at conservatoire level.

Young Actors' Programme (4 weeks). An extended course combining the Young Actors' Programme (2 weeks) and the Musical Theatre Intensive course.

Students who are interested in the backstage aspect of theatre can also choose from a number of courses taking place in July and August: Introduction to Stage Management and Technical Theatre, Introduction to Set Design, Introduction to Costume Design and Introduction to Lighting Design.
