BA in Stage Management and Technical Theatre Course Accepting Applications
These three-year honours degree is perfect for students who are interested in a career backstage and enjoy a practice-based learning environment. Please note, that this course is not part of the CAO points system. Once you have completed the application form, our admissions manager will contact you to arrange an interview date and time within two weeks after submission. Everyone who applies for this course will be offered an interview The interview is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your passion, ability and understanding of this training and the type of work it will lead to. No experience is necessary. The Bachelor in Stage Management and Technical Theatre Degree is not part of the CAO point’s race. Students are expected to have achieved the minimum matriculation requirements for Trinity College Dublin courses, however, exceptions may be made based on the demonstration of exceptional natural talent at auditions and interviews. Punk Rock - The Lir Academy's Next Production
Punk Rock will be our first pilot of using the Theatre Greenbook to deliver a show with sustainability as its focus. Every aspect of the production will be considering how it can be more conscious of using resources. Previewing on Friday, March 22nd and running until March 27th at 7.30 pm, 'Punk Rock' is performed and crewed by our students under a professional creative team. It is directed by Tom Creed.
