Entry Requirements:
Year 1: Students will need to have completed the Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied. Mature students with relevant life or work experience and those without a formal education are welcome to apply. Applicants whose first language is not English will be tested prior to acceptance.
Year 2: Students who successfully complete all modules in year one of the 5M5011 year one and candidates with a relevant full QQI Level 5 certificate will be considered. Mature students with relevant life or work experience and those without a formal education are welcome to apply. Applicants whose first language is not English will be tested prior to acceptance.
Progression to CAO Courses:
Completion of this course results in a QQI Major award, providing progression opportunities to several Higher Education courses, including those in the CAO.

Students who achieve Level 6 QQI certification with Coláiste Dhúlaigh of Further Education are eligible to apply for en try to the second year of the Tourism and Marketing degree in TU Dublin.

Students will be eligible for employment in areas of the Tourism Industry including the Airline, Travel Agency and Hotel Industries.
