New Podcast launched by Minister Catherine Martin

Music and the Mind podcast is a new podcast series which explores the connection between music and wellbeing. The show is presented by Shane Mitchell, known to us from the band Dervish and by psychologist Shane Martin.

The show is produced by recent BCFE Radio & Podcasting course student graduate, Amandine Passot Devine who is also with RTE Radio.

Topics in series one includes how music influences Bereavement and Hurt, Anxiety, Memory and Depression and how music can positively affect us through these states.

Music and the Mind podcast is expected to be available across platforms from March.

Entry Requirements

No portfolio required.

Leaving Certificate / LCVP minimum of two H5 / O1 and three O6 / H7 grades or equivalent.

QQI Level 5 award with a merit profile or BTEC National Diploma with a merit profile.

Academic entry requirements may be waived for mature applicants (21+).
