Crumlin College FE Welcomes First Intake of National Hairdressing Apprentices

Posted on December 10, 2021 Crumlin College of Further Education has been a hive of activity in recent weeks. The college recently welcomed its first intake of National Hairdressing Apprentices into the college. The college has had a long and proud association with Hairdressing and is delighted to further develop its association with the industry.

The course is a day release course for Hairdressing apprentices in full time employment with a salon registered under the National Hairdressing Apprenticeship scheme. The course tutors work alongside the salon to provide the apprentice with all the necessary skills and techniques to becoming a fully qualified hairdresser with a nationally and internationally recognised qualification.

Meanwhile, our Commis Chef Apprenticeship is nearing its two-year completion. The apprentice chefs presented a culinary event that showcased the remarkable culinary skills they have acquired in their time at Crumlin College. By all accounts, it was a resounding success. We wish the apprentice chefs all the best in their future careers and look forward to welcoming our next intake of apprentices in the year.

 

Other happenings in the college include the launch of the Pop-Up salon by the Beauty Department, Christmas Jumper week and other festive events to get us in the festive spirit. All this whilst planning for the next academic year in Autumn 2022.
