Crumlin College of Further Education - A Hive of Activity
Crumlin College of Further Education has been a hive of activity since the beginning of the college year as we welcome new and returning students to the Crumlin Road and Captains Road campuses.
On September 29th, the college building was full of colour and excitement as the class of 2023 and their friends and families gathered for the annual graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony is always a special event when we celebrate the academic, sporting and cultural achievements of our students and wish them well as they continue their educational journey or progress to the workplace. A classical musical ensemble, graduation balloons, delicious refreshments and canapés, photography and gowning services onsite, a red carpet entrance and a day of glorious sunshine all added to the general feeling of joie-de-vivre which was in abundance on the evening.
The following week on October 4th, the funometer was at its peak again as this year’s students gathered for Freshers Day. Games, Goodies, Spot Prizes galore and lots and lots of fun were the order of the day. A wonderful time was had by all and our students realised just how enjoyable a college experience can be.
Added to this, there have been lots of new friendships, field trips, workshops and classroom experiences. It certainly has been a busy few weeks. We’re not resting on our laurels though and are already looking forward to the next academic year. With this in mind, our annual Open Day is fast approaching and will take place in the Crumlin College campus on Crumlin Road on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Staff members and students will be available on the day to answer any questions from prospective students, their teachers and families.
