The new Academic year is upon us and at Crumlin College of Further Education, we’re actively recruiting students onto our full-time courses for this September. If continuing in or returning to education is your aim in 2024, there are plenty of course options on offer which are bound to put a spring in your step. Sports and Fitness
Our QQI/ITEC Sports and Courses are designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills required to work in the Sports & Leisure sectors. They consist of theoretical and practical training which enables students to work in Health Spas, Massage Therapy Clinics Fitness, Health and Leisure industries. Candidates who successfully complete level 5 Courses accreditation from both QQI and ITEC or alternatively can progress to the Level 6 courses in Fitness Instruction and Personal Training.
Fashion Studies
Our QQI Level 5 and 6 coursesFashion consist of planning, buying, selling and design aspects fashion industry. The courses provide foundation skills in fashion buying, design and styling, giving students a solid platform to launch their fashion buying and design careers. All courses are professionally accredited. Work experience forms an integral part of all courses
Business Studies
Our QQI Level 5/6 courses offer a pathway into employment in Accountancy, Marketing, Sales and general Business allowing students progression on to a number of courses or provides them with the skills to advance to immediate employment in a broad range of Business settings.
Information Technology and Creative Media
Crumlin college offers Level 5 QQI Information Technology Courses where learners gain the skills necessary to take up entry level positions as junior programmers and in a range of IT Systems Support roles. Creative media courses are practical courses providing students with the technical skills necessary for an exciting career in Graphic Design/advertising or progression to Further Education. All courses are professionally accredited.
Fitness Instruction & Personal Training (Year 2)
Our QQI level 5 Sports courses allow a progression route to this QQI Level 6 award. This course equips students with a broad range of skills for employment in the fitness industry. Applications are also welcome from students who have completed a QQI Level 5 or similar qualification and would like to enrol directly in the Level 6 programme.
