NCAD Upcoming Courses for the 2021-2022 Academic Year

CEAD Short Summer Courses 2021

Applications will open in June for our Short Summer Courses. We offer a range of 3 and 5 day, non-credit, art & design courses. These have been provisionally scheduled to run between July 19th - August 6th. The full course offering and summer course schedule will be available on the CEAD website in the coming weeks. Click here for updates on application openings

CEAD Higher Diploma in Art

Applications opening soon for the CEAD Higher Diploma in Art. This is a part-time, two year NFQL8 programme. This programme is scheduled to commence in September 2021. Applicants will be required to complete an online application form and submit a portfolio. The 2021/2022 online application form and portfolio brief will be available, on the CEAD website, shortly. University Certificate in Drawing & Visual Investigation (DVI) 

Applications for our NFQL7 University Certificate in Drawing & Visual Investigation will open for application in the coming weeks. This programme is scheduled to commence in September 2021. This is a one year, part-time programme. Applicants will be required to complete an online application form, which will be available on the CEAD website once applications open. University Certificate in Photography & Digital Imaging (PDI)

Applications for our NFQL7 University Certificate in Photography & Digital Imaging will open for application in the coming weeks. This programme is scheduled to commence in September 2021. This is a one year, part-time programme. Applicants will be required to complete an online application form and submit a portfolio.  The 2021/2022 online application form and portfolio brief will be available, on the CEAD website, shortly.  Click here for further information.

University Certificate in Visual Arts Practice (VAP)

Applications will open for continuing VAP students towards the end of June. Continuing VAP students please check your NCAD student email accounts for updates on this. Applications will open for new VAP applicants in early July. The full VAP module offering for the 2021-2022 academic year will be available on the CEAD website shortly. This is part-time, NFQL7 programme that can be completed over a period of 1-3 years. Applicants will be required to complete an online application form, which will be available on the CEAD website once applications open. Click here for further information.
