What do you think the Factories of the Future will be like? Enter UL's Online Competition

Posted on May 8, 2020 CONFIRM (the SFI funded research centre for Smart Manufacturing based in UL) are running an online competition for Primary and Secondary school pupils.

The competition focuses on this cohorts vision for the Future of Work in light of the 4th industrial revolution and is open to 7 to 14 year olds.

CONFIRM is a Smart Manufacturing research centre based at the University of Limerick and funded by Science Foundation Ireland. To put it simply, their research looks at ways they can improve the manufacturing process from start to finish through the use of cutting edge technologies like the Internet of Things, intelligent sensors, artificial intelligence & robotics.
