University of Limerick Awarded 5 Stars

Posted on May 5, 2021 University of Limerick recently recieved a five-star ranking in new Qs Star University rating system. The only Irish University to receive this influential global ranking, placing UL in the top 2% of colleges globally.

The University also received five stars in areas such as Research, Employability,Internalization, Facilities, Innovation and Inclusiveness. The evaluation process lasted five months collecting institutional data, employerengagement, analysis of research output, survey results, teaching andInternationalisation.

Professor Nigel Healey, UL’s Interim Provost and Deputy President/Vice PresidentGlobal and Community Engagement explained what this ranking means for UL, ''Itsignals to potential staff and students, as well as to future partners, the areas in whichUL excels''.
