RCSI launches new BSc in Advanced Therapeutic Technologies
RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences’ School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences are delighted to announce the launch of their new Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Advanced Therapeutic Technologies.
This programme which is supported by the Higher Education Authority under the Human Capital Initiative, has been designed to respond to the evolving healthcare landscape and to develop innovators fit to tackle the most pressing healthcare related scientific questions of our time.
Designed from a future focused perspective, students will experience an immersive and transformative educational journey using the latest developments in education delivery. The programme focuses on the most recent scientific discoveries and technologies and incorporates areas such as genomics, precision medicine, big data and connected health. It has been developed in collaboration with national and multinational biopharma companies to ensure it addresses the current and future skills needs of the BioPharma and related industries.
Commencing in September 2022, this programme will equip students with a combination of core knowledge, laboratory and research skills as well as workplace-relevant transversal competencies in order to enhance opportunities for professional development, ensuring they are well placed to succeed within their future careers.
