New RCSI Takeda Ireland Advanced Therapeutic Technologies Scholarship

Posted on May 30, 2024 RCSI is delighted to announce the launch of The Takeda Ireland Advanced Therapeutic Technologies Scholarship, a brand new scholarship available to students enrolling in the BSc in Advanced Therapeutics Technologies (BScATT) degree from September 2024.

The BScATT is designed to develop the next generation of scientists who will innovate and collaborate to create breakthrough medical therapies and technologies. The BScATT fuses digital technology with traditional science. This science degree is focused on the latest scientific discoveries and goes beyond learning about each step of the drug lifecycle process as it layers in cutting-edge advanced therapeutic technologies and precision medicine – state-of-the-art individual treatments based on individual’s genes, environment and lifestyle.

This scholarship is intended for students who are completing the Irish Leaving Certificate, who excel academically and are passionate about a lifelong career in (Bio) Pharmaceuticals and related industries. This scholarship will be offered to a student who is Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) eligible, and will offer additional financial support of €25,000.
