Tourism Course of the Month: MT940: Event Management at MTU Kerry
Event Management at MTU Kerry is a 3 year Level 8 course is a thrilling course that prepares students for a career in the events industry. The programme is collaborative, combining event management, leadership skills, production, design and social media tools.
Students will learn to plan, execute and promote events of a high standard and also have the know how to deduct potential risks, eliminate them and take steps to prevent them from reoccurring. Graduates will be competent event budget planners and will make business savvy decisions to optimize budgets. There will be an emphasis on teaching students the importance of incorporating sustainable practices into event planning and management.
