A Virtual & Vibrant Rathmines College Open Day to be filled with Course Variety in January ’21
Rathmines College are putting plans in to action for a Virtual Open Day on Thursday, 28th January 2021. Students can learn more about the vibrant learning environment in Rathmines College and the variety of QQI Level 5 & 6 courses on offer in this popular city centre Further Education College.
Bernadette Moore, Principal at Rathmines College, says ‘’the new virtual Open Day format will allow students looking to start courses in September ’21 chat directly with course directors and teachers about the 30 plus QQI Level 5 & 6 further education courses covering Business, Computer Programming, Media, Administration, Professional Accounting and Pre-University Law, Arts and Social Science. The Virtual Open Day is also an opportunity to chat about the great progression routes to either QQI Level 6, universities or career options, while also getting a feel for what studying in our vibrant college is like.’’
A focus of the Open Day will also be to hear of the learning experiences of graduates and students and what they enjoy most about being a student of Rathmines College. The virtual event is also an opportunity to find out more about college activities, from the successful college football team to the Erasmus programme, where students travel to France and Germany.
Guidance and grants advice will also form part of the Virtual Open Day and, very importantly, information on how to apply for a place on a course in Rathmines College starting in September ’21.
Enrolment for the September 2021 intake on all Rathmines College courses will open in early January 2021. When applicants fill in the enrolment form online they will receive an offer for their chosen course on the basis that they then meet the minimum course requirements in their Leaving Certificate in June.
