Rathmines College Level 5 Certificate in Retail and Merchandising

The QQI Level 5 Certificate Retail and Merchandising is an exciting new course in Rathmines College with modules designed to link to the retail sector and online selling. Two specific modules – Retail Selling and Customer Care – will allow students, and graduates to progress to a career in the large retail sector in Ireland and abroad.

• Work Experience / Personal and Professional Development
• Communications
• Maths (Optional)4
• European Language (Optional)

Progression and Career Opportunities

Students who complete the one-year QQI Level 5 Retail and Merchandising course progress through the CAO system to Higher Education courses in Trinity College Dublin, UCD, DCU, Maynooth University, TU Dublin, National College of Ireland and IADT.
On successful completion of this course students have the opportunity to progress within Rathmines College to QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Business, QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Business – Legal and the Rathmines College Professional Accounting courses where they may choose from a range of ACCA and ATI accredited courses.
Students who successfully complete this course are equipped to seek employment in a range of retail outlets – shops and online.
