UCD Agriculture, Food Science and Human Nutrition Summer School

The UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science recently hosted an exciting virtual experience for the Agriculture, Food Science and Human Nutrition Summer School 2020.



The event provided an overview of some of the opportunities and expertise available at the school. Professor Kevin McDonnell joined the event from UCD Lyons Farm with Dr Aifric O’Sullivan joining from the UCD Institute of Food and Health to discuss a recent study of the effect of COVID-19 on the Irish Diet.

The event heard from students from across a range of undergraduate programmes who shared their experiences of studying at UCD. Some familiar faces shared their memories from their time at the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science including Daniel Davey, Performance Nutritionist with the Dublin GAA Football Team & Leinster Rugby and Mairead McGuinness, Vice-President of the European Parliament.
