Students of this course will take modules in business, science, mathematics technology and communications. In the summer of second year students will take part in the management of a dairy farm at Teagasc, Kildalton Agricultural College, followed by a Professional Work Experience placement in the dairy industry until December, which can be undertaken in New Zealand.
Assessment consists of projects, continuous assessment. Monthly reports, interview and final report make up the assessment of the PWE placement.

Entry Requirements:
As of 2022 the points required for this course are 387. Applicants will need a minimum of O6/H7 in English, O6/H7 in Irish, O6/H7 in Maths and O6 / H7 in Agricultural Science or Biology or Chemistry or Physics/Chemistry.
