The 1916 Bursary is funded by the Department of Education and Skills and administered by UCD on behalf of the Institute.
What’s the value of the 1916 Bursary?
There are three different types of bursaries available:
- Tier 1: €5,000 per year
- Tier 2: €2,000 per year
- Tier 3: Awardees will receive a once-off bursary of €1,500 for the academic year 2021-22 only. This applies to both full and part-time students.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 bursaries will be also payable to students as they progress into postgraduate studies.
